MIAMI — Javier Vazquez went 5 1/3 scoreless innings and the Marlins’ offense provided enough support as they snapped their 11-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory against the Angels on Tuesday night in front of 17,344 at Sun Life Stadium.

Mike Stanton’s one-out RBI double to right-center in the sixth gave the Marlins a 3-0 cushion.

Hanley Ramirez, inserted into the cleanup spot for the first time in his career, led off the sixth with an infield hit and stole his 13th base of the season. After Greg Dobbs walked, Stanton connected on a 0-1 pitch.
