Watermelon is the choice food for The Fourth of July, there is no second place

There is only one food that is synonymous with the Fourth of July and that my friends, is Watermelon…..

This is the one and only true food for the 4th of July…..Watermelon…..I did the Sports Talk Radio circuit for 15 years and this is a hot topic around the 4th of July in all areas of Talk Radio…..They have to find something to carry them through the hot summer months and this has always been a Hot Topic, right around the mid-summer night’s dream time….

I heard a few of the talkers on the radio today and they were trying to bring back the topic again and I carried this one for 15 years so I know where I am coming from…..I was rated among the Top 25 Sports Talkers to come through the Carolinas back in the day and I almost did 15 years of Sports Talk Radio before I hit 40 and that is moving, I can tell you…..

For The Fourth of July it was, is and always will be, Watermelon…..The signature food for the 4th……It is not a Hot Dog, a Hamburger, a Chicken sandwich, potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, apple pie, ice cream, lemonade(this might be a drink unless it is frozen and then it becomes edible and therefore a food….) or any other substance……

Watermelon, Watermelon, Watermelon, Watermelon, Watermelon, and more Watermelon….That is the food of choice on The Fourth of July…….

I have been on this Talk/Discussion circuit/panel for many years, and the Signature food for the Fourth is WATERMELON……….

Probably not, when I was doing the Talk Scene they used to call me, “The Best There Was, The Best There Is, and The Best There Ever Will Be”, and that’s The Bottom Line……..

Watermelon for The Fourth of July and don’t you forget it……..The is NO second place……
