Former Greensboro Grasshopper Gaby Sanchez to represent Florida Marlins at the MLB All-Star game

From the Greensboro Grasshoppers team back in 2006, Gaby Sanchez (Florida Marlins), has been named as a reserve player, for the National League team in the MLB All-Star Game coming up on Tuesday July 12….

Sanchez is currently batting .292 for the Marlins, with 13 home runs and 46 RBI’s……

Sanchez made the team, his teammates, pitchers, Anibal Sanchez(6-2) and reliever Leo Nunez did not make the NL squad…..Nunez is right at 25-26 saves on the season……

Jack McKeon, the Florida Marlins skipper from Elon, told Marlins’ reporters that he felt Nunez and Anibal Sanchez should both be on the NL club for the All-Star Game……

After all is said and done, good job Gaby, for making the All-Star Game…….
