from Saturday night in Charleston, West Virginia:

Greensboro Grasshoppers 10
West Virginia Power 7

WP:Chris Shafer(2-0)
LP:Pounders(5-3)

Four big HR’s by the Grasshoppers with 2 from Marcell “The Masher” Ozuna(11), plus one each from Mark “Killer” Canha(14) and Danny Black(4)…….Ozuna went 3-5, Christian Yelich was 3-5, Willy Gimenez went 2-4 and Danny Black was 3-4…..Ozuna and Black drove in three runs each…..

The second half of the season is just now under way and “Killer” Canha has 14 HR’s and the team record is 39 set by Mike Stanton back in 2008………

Hoppers now stand at (5-5) in the second half and were tied for second place with 4 other SALLY league teams going into Sunday’s game at West Virginia……
