CONE HEALTH JOINS WYNDHAM CHAMPIONSHIP AS OFFICAL VOLUNTEER SPONSOR

Tournament Still Accepting Volunteer Applications

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Cone Health has joined the Wyndham Championship as its
official volunteer sponsor, it was announced today. With the first round of
the Piedmont Triad’s PGA TOUR event now just six weeks from today, time is
getting short, but the tournament continues to accept volunteer
applications. The 72nd annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 15-21 at
Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.

As the official volunteer sponsor, Cone Health will support all volunteers
with its logo adorning volunteer shirts and hats as well as the volunteer
headquarters tent located near the putting green at Sedgefield Country Club.
More than 8,200 Cone Health employees are dedicated to improving the health
and well being of people throughout the region.

“Our 1,500 volunteers play a major role in the success of the Wyndham
Championship every year,” tournament director Mark Brazil said. “To have
Cone Health join us as our official volunteer sponsor speaks volumes about
its support of the Wyndham Championship and volunteerism in the Triad. We
really appreciate all that our volunteers do and are looking forward to a
successful 2011 event with Cone Health’s support.”

“The Piedmont Triad would not be able to host this PGA TOUR stop – which
truly shines the national spotlight on our community – without the
tremendous support of so many dedicated volunteers,” Cone Health president
and CEO Tim Rice said. “Our tournament, our city and the entire Piedmont
Triad community are indebted to each of them.”

Some 1,500 volunteers work the Wyndham each year serving in roles such as
gallery control, standard bearers, walking scorers, ShotLink laser
operators, pro-am caddies, course management, concessions and more.
Volunteers may purchase the tournament’s volunteer package which includes a
Zero Restriction Wyndham Championship golf shirt, a tournament hat and
poncho as well as a drawstring bag for $45. In addition, volunteers receive
weekly tournament admission, a weekly ticket book for a guest, free parking
as well as food and drinks when working. If purchased separately, the
package would be a $335 value. To get more information or register,
