After having its apparent win stripped away due to the use of an illegal bat, High Point traveled back to McCrary Park Wednesday evening and came away with a 7-6 win over Randolph County to stay alive in the double elimination playoffs.

Playing hurt DeSean Anderson(Ragsdale/South Carolina) homered, Mike Whited(Ragsdale/Catawba) smashed his 12 home run of the season, Bennett Hixon(Wesleyan) came up big at the plate and Justin Morrison(High Point Christian) picked up the win on the hill….

  1. Just for the record…Mike Whited will be attending and playing for Guilford Tech this year.

  2. And they keep on winning Beat Winston tonight 3-1. One win away from a trip to the state tourney.

  3. One more time! Hi Toms beat Randolph Co Post 45 for the third time in four days 8-4 and will be going to the state tourney in Morehead City. Still have a best 2 out of 3 against Rowan Co for the Area III championship but are already guaranteed a slot at the state tourney.
