West head coach is entering his 21st season as head coach of Dudley High School where his teams have gone 432-121 and played in 5 state championship games and won the state championship 3 times in 20 seasons…has compiled a career record of 668-217 in 29 seasons…also previously served as an assistant and head coach at Stoneville High and as an assistant basketball and football coach at Morehead High… NCHSAA Regional Award recipient…named Conference Coach of the Year, Guilford County Coach of the Year, and N.C. Coach of the Year…has coached in numerous other All-Star events, including: Coca Cola All-Star Game in Muncie, Indiana (1996), Kentucky Derby All-Star Basketball Game (2002), Commonwealth Classic in Richmond, VA (2005), and the Jordan Classic in Madison Square Garden, NY (2006)…native to Leaksville, NC…1969 graduate of Stoneville High where he played basketball and was named Best Defensive Player, All-Conference, All-County…also played in the state championship game and was recognized by Street and Smith Magazine…1974 graduate of Winston-Salem State University…also received his M.S. from North Carolina A & T State University…says “I look forward to coaching in the NCCA East-West All-Star Game.
