The North Carolina Gaters opened pool play at the 12 & Under
AAU National Championships in Hampton, VA with a 55-40 victory over the highly
regarded NC Rising Prospects. The Gaters were led by Kameron Langley with 22 points
and 8 assists. Alex Michael added 10 points and 7 rebounds and Reggie Davis had 8
points and 9 rebounds. Jeremiah Praylor and John Newman had 6 points apiece. The
Gaters continue pool play on Thursday as they take on the Texas Dream Team (Houston,
TX) at 1:20 PM.
