The Greensboro Green Colt All-Stars baseball team leaves out for the Colt World Series, in Lafayette, Indiana, on Thursday(tommorow)….

The Greensboro Green team will play the host team from Lafayette, Indiana on Saturday afternoon, at around 2pm….

The games can be heard on the internet at www.hoosierauthority.com…….Tune in Saturday and follow the Green team, from Greensboro, as they go for the title….The last title by a Greensboro team, at the Colt World Series came back in 1965….The very last World Series win by a Greensboro team came back in 1994, when the American Postal Workers Union team won the Palomino World Series at Stoner-White Stadium, in Jaycee Park…..The Palomino league at the time was run by the late Bob Doss and the APWU team was coached by Alan Ashkinazy…..
