Controversy creates Cash and Miami means Money$$$

The Miami Hurricanes made millions and they didn’t earn it and you have to wonder if they have now earned a long visit from the NCAA and if the probation doctor is headed to the House of the Hurricanes and if The “U” will come through this scadal, with all their sails still in the wind/Hurricane……

Nevin Shapiro, a former Miami booster who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for masterminding a $930 million Ponzi scheme, has told Yahoo! Sports he provided impermissible benefits to 72 of the university’s football players and other athletes between 2002 and 2010.

  1. Just shocking……who would have ever guessed that Miami players would be the kind to take improper benefits.

Carolina = Miami…….how’s that taste Holes!!

  2. UNC,Georgia Tech & now Miami. I guess next year only Duke,Virginia or Virginia Tech will be eligible from their division to play in the ACC Title Game.
Right now the Miami situation looks worse than the UNC situation. However, Miami is a private school and does not have many of the same advantages as UNC does to cover up their misdeeds. UNC has still not released the phone records that Butch Davis had on his 216 area code cell phone. If ALL of the hearsay about uNC actually comes to light it will be very comparable to the Miami scandal. I also just saw where Central Florida is now under investigation. Perhaps the NCAA should hire more employees since they seem to really need them these days. Football scandals could then put a nice dent in unemployeement in this country.

  3. BIG TIME COLLEGE SPORTS IS DIRTY BUSINESS AT ALL LEVELS. DON’T LET ANYONE LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE OTHER WISE! THERE ARE NO CLEAN PROGRAMS OUT THERE.
