BURLINGTON, N.C.— Williams High School will play football this week as scheduled, just days after the shocking death of their captain.

Senior quarterback Harry Cohen died Monday night at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. He was admitted early Sunday morning after a family friend said he stopped breathing.

Fred Black, head of the Williams Boosters Club, said Coach David Green met with the seniors Tuesday, and they wanted to play the game against Graham.

“It’s what Harry would have wanted. He’s a fighter,” Black said.
