2010: One of six true freshmen to see action for the Spiders… Played in nine games and handled short-snapping(as in long-snapping) duties… Is projected in that same roll in 2010, along with adding depth to Richmond’s corps of linebackers.
High School: A standout long-snapper and linebacker from Ragsdale High in Jamestown, N.C… lettered four years in both football and baseball… Earned All-Conference mention at linebacker as both a junior and senior… All-Area as a senior at linebacker.
Personal: Son of Kirk and Jennifer Sparks… Born February 7, 1992.
