Charlotte area high school football games that were set for last Friday got moved to this Tuesday and then they have turn around and play again this Friday

Spokesmen for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools said, it’s too tough to get all the Show Pros(they handle admissions and weapon detectors) and the police(security) together for a Saturday game night and today(Monday) is Labor Day, a holiday, but now the schools will have to re-group and also play on Friday of this week, with ONE practice on Wednesday and then the light workout on Thursday and then the GAME GOES on Friday….WOW, a quick and busy week…..Tuesday night high school football??? CRAZY, but do you do?????

Last Friday night’s sudden thunderstorm that ran through the Charlotte-area forced postponement of nine Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools football games. The games will be played Tuesday at 7 p.m. If the game has started, it will be resumed where it was postponed Friday.

  1. And… with all of this rain and lightning from the tropical system from the gulf could possibly delay the games even more if things get nasty on Tuesday night. They could end up cancelling some of the games and not making them up at all..

  2. That would be bad news for teams that are already playing a 10 game season…..Going to hard to coordinate if the Tuesday games get axed….Bad news…
