Wesleyan guard Montay Brandon(6’7/195) commits to the Florida State Seminoles

Earlier this summer Montay Brandon was leanig heavily toward Georgia Tech, after the Yellow Jackets offered, but today he’s ready to say, “Roll, roll, Seminoles Roll”…..

Good pick up today by Jason Wolf at the N&R and the reason I put Montay Brandon’s height up front in the headline, is because that is a big guard and the kid has been growning while at Wesleyan, after coming over from the Northeast Guilford program, three years ago….Coach Keith Gatlin and the Wesleyan Trojans have to be very proud of their young product, Mr. Brandon, and from what I was reading, Brandon is very excited and he couldn’t hardly wait to get thew words out, when it was time to say that he is a Seminole….I guess now you could say, “Roll, roll, Seminoles roll”, as 6’7 guard Montay Brandon rolls into Tallahassee, in 2012……

  1. Congrats to Montay.

How do you come in 4th place out of 5 teams in a conference last season when you have the only ACC level guard in the conference besides Tyler Lewis (NC STATE) at Forsyth Country. You have Richmond who is arguably the most athletic guard in the conference. You have shooters (Cade Isley – Pfeiffer….etc.). You had bigs in Josh and big Leek up front.
