ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – Sarah Bradburd and Hannah Schiltz both scored a career-high two goals in Guilford College’s 5-0 win at North Carolina Wesleyan College in the Bishops’ Women’s Fall Classic Friday.
The Quakers (3-2) raced to a 3-0 halftime lead as Schiltz, Sarah Levitt and Bradburd all scored about 10 minutes apart. Levitt notched an assist on Bradburd’s goal, which came just under nine minutes before intermission.
Schiltz added her team-leading third goal of the season in the 66th minute and Bradburd closed out the scoring in the 84th minute.
Kat Adams and Abby Gove combined to make three saves in goal for the Quakers’ second shutout in as many games. Johanna Wallinder had 10 stops for the Battling Bishops (09-4).
Guilford concludes play in the Classic Saturday versus NCAA Division II member Chowan University at 3:00 p.m.
