Record jumps to (25-8) for the season and last week’s (7-2) had one game that we missed by just one point and that game went into Double Overtime….

Getting your team banned from the playoffs because you can’t control your emotions is not “adversity.” Adversity is what happened to Williams High School and a young man named Harry Cohen.
Some people need to get a little bit of perspective.
First of all it wasn’t a realy fight,and it is adversity when someone has to take playoffs from sw when the opposing team thrw the punch and everyone was trying to break it up was seen as fighting..so get your facts straight and shut up before you do all this talking..
yes the harry cohen thing is adversity too but so is the sw thing..

Sounds like you’re the one who needs to “chill out, bruh.” I don’t care who started the fight. I just think its pathetic that people use the word “adversity” when they have no concept of the meaning of the word. The SW kids — or any kids who get into trouble for fighting during a game — get what they deserve. Nobody made them do something stupid; they chose to do it. Harry Cohen had no say in what happened to him.
I don’t know Southwest from any of the other stupid unimaginative directional high schools in Guilford County, so I’m not trying to put them down specifically. I just think there are too many people who don’t have a clue about what real “adversity” is and I get tired of them throwing the word around.
Harry Cohen’s parents and friends will never get to see him again. That’s adversity. Missing the playoffs because you’re stupid is not adversity.
RIP to harry cohen but we have to pay both the teams respect so congratulations to both teams
I agree you should invite SW players next week just not the players who deserve it but the ones who caused their team not to go to the playoffs. Maybe it should be a call in show so we can all ask “just what were you thinking?”. Maybe you can also invite some former UNC players who caused their team great emarrassment also. This could offer a great community service to remind other players that this is what can happen when you cheat and break the rules. I do feel sorry for those on the SW team who did not participate in the fight but gee whiz folks have a little pride and take your medicine this year. Next year you can bounce back and rebuild with a team that is wiser and stronger.

I’m going with Northern to run the table in the conference starting with Burlington Williams this Friday night….Eastern Alamance, Western Alamance and Eastern Guilford will still all be pretty tough, but it is Go Nighthawks time…..
