WENTWORTH — Western Alamance defensive back Shakur Gilliam was transported to a Greensboro hospital after collapsing twice early in the second half of Friday night’s game at Rockingham County.
Gilliam was en route to Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in a Rockingham County EMS ambulance.
“He was alert and talking,” Western Alamance coach Jeff Snuffer said after the game. “He was feeling a little dizzy.”
