Names to take a look at and again, you can come up with your own, but when you make your mind up, tell everyone you know to vote for that player, so you can get them in as the winner…..

Richard Hayes(Dudley HS), with 4 touchdown passes…..Hayes also ran for a TD…..

Jamal Petty for Southeast Guilford with 4 touchdowns and close to 200 yards rushing…..

TJ Logan from Northern Guilford with his 259 yards rushing and two TD’s, plus a TD pass for TJ…..

Southern Guilford’s Jamie Cunningham passed for three TD’s and ran one in and he had 231 yards of total offense for the Storm and it all came in the first half…..

The Northwest Guilford offensive line as the Vikings posted over 300 yards rushing again, in a 28-7 win over Southwest Guilford…..

Grimsley’s DeShawn Jones with 12 carries for 142 yards for the Whirlies in a 13-12 loss to Western Guilford….

Josh Thompson had a winning night, at QB for WG, in the win over the Whirlies and I hear he is getting some looks from Wisconsin of all places…..

Brad Davis, Ragsdale P/K, and he hit two field goals and made good on both of his extra-point kicks in the Tigers’ win over East Forsyth on Monday night….Davis also handled the punting for Ragsdale and booted the football for an average of 36.5 yards per punt….On defense from Ragsdale, you have to nominate Trey Grimes and Duncan Sparks….Sparks had his fourth interception of the season on Monday and Grimes was everywhere coming up with big hits…..

From Northeast Guilford senior runningback Jacob McCann had 138 yards on 13 carries and one TD in the Rams’ win over South Granville…..

Eastern Guilford’s QB Heath Justice came up with 208 yards on just 6-12 passing and one TD and the one TD came on a long play of 85 yards, on a pass to Milton Walker….Walker had two catches for 104 yards…….

Name your own!!!!!

  1. Besides the Tigers mentioned above, there’s Ragsdale running back, Marquez Eleazer; and, Brandon Walker as receiver. Both guys showing a lot of talent!

  2. Northwest offensive line for their performance against a defense boasting one definite D1 performer and maybe as many three.

  3. The thing that’s impressive about the NW O-line is their doing it with a multiple running back attack. I saw in the News-Record that they had 2 backs over 100 yards and another that almost went for 100. It will be interesting to see if they can do it against HP Central, Ragsdale, and East Forsyth…….Congrats great to see the O-line getting some love!!!

  4. Maybe it’s not the O-line, but the lack of a D-line. SW hasn’t stopped anyone on defense all year. Just sayin’

  5. Or could it be that NW has a pretty good offense and running game? They’ve only rushed for almost 1500 yards as a team in 6 games.

  6. Yeah they average 300 yards per game against 5 teams and just over 100 yards against a good defense! You know in that loss!

  7. Jamal Petty had 249 on 16 carries and 4 TDs. I am honestly not voting for him based on the fact that he is my little brother. He literally answered every time Smith looked to gain momentum. SEG started a backup QB and it was no secret who was getting the ball.

  8. southwest has stopped alot of people that defense is very physical its just offense has giving them bad possesion and special teams the southwest d-line is led by brandon banks..if i’m not mistaking the best d-line man in the county and he did get hurt against northwest after the first quarter and he is a diffrence maker
