News on the new Carolina Cheetahs in the American Basketball Association……..

1. ABA Carolina Cheetahs Hold 3-Day Training Camp at University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the “Gate City” Triad, N.C.

-If you haven’t already heard, the “Gate City” is the home of a professional
basketball team. It should not come as a surprise to the basketball faithful in the
Triad, that Greensboro would again, strive to reach hardwood greatness and add to
its hoops history by welcoming a professional basketball team.

2. It’s Official: Carolina Cheetahs Names New Coach Tim Wells Triad, N.C. – Carolina Cheetahs is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Wells as the new head basketball coach. Tim was employed last season as Head Coach at KK Triland, a professional basketball team in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Wells led the Triland team to an undefeated regular season record (10-0). Wells was named League “Coach of the Year” after coming back to the triad area with the Championship. —

About the Carolina Cheetahs Professional Basketball Team: The Carolina Cheetahs ABA organization is a local expansion franchise that will begin play in the 2011 season.
