Daniel Downing had what might have been his best night of the season for Northern Guilford, with 3 TD passes and one TD run on 70 yards….Two of the three TD passes went to Scooter Mooney and the other to TJ Logan…..136 yards passing for Downing last night as NG topped Rockingham County….
Jeff Miller scored 4 touchdowns for Northeast Guilford in the Rams win over Southwestern Randolph and his QB Kyle Martin tossed two TD passes and he threw for 164 yards…
De’Sean Jones ran for three TD’s for Grimsley in the Whirlies win over Smith and he got some great blocking from D.J. Reader and Kevin Walton on one of the runs that I saw, on Friday Football Fever…..
Carter Stanley had a pick six interception return for a TD for the Page Pirates in heir big Homecoming win over Southern Alamance and James Summers was big with a key pass to WR Orlando Hatfield and James was on the run and Hatfield was making plays all night long and I heard Debo Brooks also took one to the house for the Pirates…Was watching them on Friday Football Fever…..
Demtrious McCorkle, Anthony Lamb and Brandon Reynolds really stood out for the Dudley Panthers in their win over Western Guilford last night as McCorkle was at RB, QB and DB, plus Lamb had a TD reception, an interception and a blocked field goal and Reynolds was all over the field for the Panthers….I was very impressed with Tray Miller for Western Guilford…If I were a college scout, I would be all over this kid as a DB prospect…..He had two picks last night and took one back 78 yards to paydirt and he is just a junior…..
Nice Senior Night for Matt Pawlowski and Northwest Guilford, with QB Matty P throwing for three TD’s for NWG and RB Reid Baxter(135 yards) scored three times for the Vikings….Walter Glass, Jon Sugg and Curtis Smith big on “D” on Friday Football Fever and Ryan Overcash had a big reception and Dalton Dillon a big hard run on the Fever Show……
Jamie Cunningham and Malik Mosley had their usual solid nights for Southern Guilford as Mosley ran for 119 yards and a TD and Cunningham had 2 TD’s passing and he got one more on the ground and his air numbers hit 141 yards….
Saw a real long FG kick by Tyler Hunt for Eastern Guilford on Friday Football Fever and he really put his foot into that one…….Tough loss by the ‘Cats to Western Alamance….

Good deal, you are right it was John McBeth….TJ had some TD’s somewhere, but you are correct, John deserves his due….On that 3rd TD for NG, it was John McBeth, after the other two went to Scooter Mooney….I’m doing too much of this from memory and the bank has closing too early on Saturday mornings…..

I nominate the NWG “O” LINE for POYas they dominated again……best line in Guilford County….also I want to nominate the JV football team as they haven’t lost a game in years!!!!!!
