College Volleyball Final – Guilford 3, Ferrum 0

FERRUM, Va. – Guilford College’s volleyball team continued its late-season surge with a convincing 25-15, 25-14, 25-15 road win over Ferrum College Friday night. The victory marked the Quakers’ (10-14) eighth win in its last 11 outings.

Senior Mary Moody (Asheboro, N.C./Asheboro) accounted for 15 points with nine kills and a career- and season-high six service aces. Sophomore Malikah French contributed seven kills on .600 hitting and four blocks. Emma Gunn chipped in six kills and hit .417. Taylor Whitley set up 29 assists and Taylor Phillips picked up eight digs. All 13 Quakers played in the contest.

Kayla Trippeer’s eight kills paced Ferrum (0-24). Jordan Link added six kills and team-high eight digs.

Guilford visits Emory & Henry College Tuesday (10/25) at 7:00 p.m.
