N.C. State will look to their ‘new’ man in Calvin Leslie, formerly C.J. Leslie and find out how much first-year coach Mark Gottfried will lean on him and the other Wolfpack starters when you CLICK HERE….

Big year for Duke and the Blue Devils will rely heavily on the big men up front, in the Plumlees(Miles and Mason from Christ School in Asheville/Arden) and Ryan Kelly(Ravenscroft HS in Raleigh)….Once Coach K moves past Coach K(Knight) in November, it will be time to move on to the NCAA’s and start challenging the records of John Wooden….CLICK HERE to read more’read all…….

  • Carl said,

How is PJ able to see more early action than Will Graves did when he first went to Carolina?

  • Andy said,

We are going to have to wait and see how this all plays out, but if you can hit your outside shots with a team in need of three-point shooters then you will play….With that being said, you have to be able to hit your three’s as soon as you enter the game…..North Carolina is in need of three-point shooters and they hope that P.J. can help them in that area and they expect him to be able to contribute from the start of the season/first game……If you can hit you will play, if can’t hit, then you will sit……Hopefully the year at Hargrave will be to P.J.’s advantage, with a very tough schedule and the discipline he needed headed into college……

Carolina also needs to find a proven backup point guard for Kendall Marshall…..You would think that P.J. and James McAdoo both should see a lot of playing time this year and the Heels are hoping to get a boost from the return of Reggie Bullock as well…..Marshall, Barnes, Henson, Zeller ;and who is the fifth starter? That has me wondering……

  • Andy said,

Dexter Strickland is listed as the fifth starter and he is at 2Guard and they say he is also the backup point guard…..

@Carl, there is a difference between a 5 star prospect and a 3 star prospect. All due respect to Will Graves talent, PJ is just better. He also seems to be in better shape coming in than was Graves.

  • Big Will said,

Will should have stuck with football…….. *co-signed on what Brian said………PJ will definitely get his minutes.
