We had sort of a wild-card winner this week in Woody, Woody Cornwell from High Point Central High School…Woody wasn’t on the radar screen, till he got his chance to start in the place of the injured HPC QB Justin Johnson last Friday night and Woody responded in a very big way….After a slow start he picked up steam and led his Bison to a large Conference win over one of their top rivals, in Southwest Guilford….Woody Cornwell went 17-29 passing last Friday night, with 159 yards and 3 TD passes for the Bison of High Point Central and he is the Power Team Sales/Greensborosports.com Player of the Week….(We had a very big response from Woody’s following over at High Point Central.)
