Greensboro College Linebacker Allen Stallings Earns USA South and National Weekly Recognition

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) — Big games and recognition have become the norm for senior Greensboro College linebacker Allen Stallings. Stallings was named USA South Defensive Player of the Week as well as being selected to the D3football.com National Team of the Week. His single game school record 26 tackles on Saturday were the most of any player selected to the National Team, at all levels.
The USA South honors were Stallings third of the season. He was also named Defensive Player of the Week on October 10 and October 17.

Stallings helped lead a near upset of conference leading Christopher Newport. Overall, he finished with 14 solo stops, 12 assisted, two forced fumbles, two tackles for loss and was credited with half a sack.

Stallings now holds every major tackle record in Greensboro College history. He is the all-time career leader in total, unassisted and assisted tackles, in addition to holding the top single game mark.

The Pride will be back in action on Saturday, November 12 at Maryville. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m.
