Carolina Cheetahs Seeking Mascot for 2011-2012 Season

(Greensboro, North Carolina)- The Carolina Cheetahs organization is currently seeking applicants for the mascot position for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. The mascot is required to work at each home game of the Cheetahs regular season.

Applicants interested in being the Mascot this season for the Carolina Cheetahs should send an email to carolinacheetahsdanceteam@yahoo.com and plan to interview and tryout out with the Lady Cheetahs on Sunday, November 6th at the CA Cheer and Dance studio located 1108 N. O’Henry Blvd., Greensboro, NC.

The ideal candidate for our mascot would be someone with mascot experience and a great sense of humor. He or she would be available for all home games as well as other events throughout the year.

In addition to appearing at Cheetah sporting events, the mascot will make frequent appearances throughout the Triad community. The Carolina Cheetah organization is dedicated to providing affordable, family-fun entertainment to the community and their mascot will aid in community events. The mascot will support both our players and the Ladies of Purrfection, the Cheetah’s cheerleading and dance program.

About the Carolina Cheetahs Professional Basketball Team:
The Carolina Cheetahs ABA organization is a local expansion franchise who will begin play in the 2011 season. The organization is dedicated to providing affordable, family-fun entertainment to the community; in addition to providing local athletes an opportunity to play on a professional level. The Carolina Cheetahs will represent the greater Piedmont Triad communities of Greensboro, Winston Salem, and High Point. The organization gives back to its community by providing empowerment camps for children and their parents and classes on financial freedom. The Cheetahs are one of three teams owned by the Carolina Cats Sports & Entertainment Group Inc, the other two being the Raleigh-based Carolina Jaguars and the Rocky Mount-based Carolina Cougars.

  2. The problems with the early basketball teams have been well documented, but the football team has kept their act together and they continue to press on…..
