I would have thought NW would have scored more than 45 points. How good are the players back for NW this year ?
I don’t know how good they were last year, But we (southern) understand that defense wins games.

GDS was up athalf 49-12. Called off the dogs in the 2nd quarter and emptied their bench. Not sure of the final but it was however bad they wanted to make it. Bengals looked really good again tonight. I know they have played two really good teams, but that was in Asheville. Looking forward to them being tested around here to see their top guys play an entire game. Not sure that will happen until Ravenscroft comes to town. Although I know Caldwell is much improved.

Interested to hear how people think the local teams stack up this year. Public and private. Thinking NE should be best public school with Dudley and Andrews not far behind (by the way congrats to Andrews coach on his first win as a head coach). Private schools look like GDS, Wesleyan, and HPCA as the class of the area. Caldwell is supposed to be vastly improved. Any others? What about the Forsyth County schools or even Alamance county. I personally think it will be hard for the other private schools to match the depth of GDS. Although GDS doesn’t have that ACC type player. They probably have 6-8 guys that will get a scholarship at some level to play basketball. Andy maybe we should start a thread on this.
I really don’t see any of the publics around here being that good anytime soon since the top talent is heading to the privates. Might as welll notch another Little 4 title to GDS.
Gds is the only private school in the little 4 so they should win it every year but they dont
If Northeast’s team continues to get better throughout the year this may be there strongest team in quite awhile.
