Lady Conqueror Streak Ends at 12

(Reidsville, NC) The Community Baptist School Lady Conquerors (12-1) suffered their first loss of the season Tuesday night, losing 63-46 to the Surry Home School “Running Patriots” (12-3).

The Patriots broke open a one point game in the third quarter with a torrid barrage in the 4th, outscoring the Lady Conquerors 21-5.

The Patriots were led by Leah Church, who poured in 28 points, including nine in the decisive 4th Quarter. Joyce Harrison (12) and Hannah Tomkins (10) also figured prominently in the Patriot offense.

CBS was led by senior Megan Tuck’s fourth double/double of the season of 18 Points and 14 rebounds. She was assisted by junior Megan Haskins (11 points) and sophomore Holly Billingsley (8 points).

Next action for the Lady Conquerors will be Friday, December, 16th at Home versus Faith Christian Academy from Hurt, VA. Game time is set for 5pm.
