HS Hoops Tonight for 1/3/12

Northeast Guilford at Page(Boys only)…..Last time out Page won the game 55-53 at NEG….Page(10-2)/NEG(9-3)….NEG very quick and we should see Frank Eaves(Page) and Bryce Benjamin(NEG) leading their respective teams…..Hairston, Williamson, Tijani, Simpson very speedy for NEG and Cam Smith works well and so does Donovan Gilmore…..James Summers and Justin Conner could make a big difference around the basket and on the move up and down the court will be Bryson Fonville, Brian Spain and Lance Brown for the Pirates….
High Point Christian Academy(14-0) at Caldwell Academy…Got to get Obacha and Obogdo off the boards to be successful vs. HPCA….Could be a state and/or county record for Nigerian Nightmares in this game with, Obacha and Obogdo for HPCA and then Uchedike, Kobani and Izetu(Emeka) for Caldwell……
Dudley at WS Reagan….Dudley(5-5)…Dudley girls right at (7-2) and Dudley boys don’t need to fall here and go (5-6)…Reagan gave Page Pirates one of their two losses and the other was to GDS for Page…..Dudley lost all three down in South Carolina over Christmas….
Eastern Guilford at Western Alamance…..Western Alamance(9-2) Coached by Wayne Stevens former girls coach at NEG…..
Ragsdale at Southwest Guilford….SWG boys coming off of 2nd place finish at Sheetz Holiday Tournament and Jordan Hanner had 32 points in the final….Hanner, both Bridges(Ray and Herbie), Brandon Clyburn and Braxton Daye should start for SWG….Will see a lot of Saxton Cotton and KJ Langley in reserve and Cotton may start…
High Point Central at Northwest Guilford…..NWG needs to hold down the homecourt advantage and get both of these conference wins tonight…..The key could well be, the NWG PG, Matt Pawlowski……
Rockingham County at Northern Guilford….Autumn Carter for RC excellent girls player and NG girls enter at (10-3) and defintely among the Top 25 girls 3-A teams in the state…..NG boys should roll with Chandler, Markley, Logan, McBeth, Downing, Mullikin and Prileau….RC girls (8-3) overall coming in…..

  1. As far as I know, PAGE girls off tonight….Boys game to tip off at 7:30 after the JV game at 6pm….

  2. Boys – HPCA 50 – 35 over Caldwell. Wasn’t a real beauty of a game. HPCA led 15 – 14 at half, but broke it open in the 3rd quarter, outscoring Caldwell 25 – 13.
