The Page Pirates met the Butler Bulldogs in Round Three of this past season’s 4-AA football playoffs and knocked off Butler on their way to the NCHSAA 4-AA Title and who knows, they could meet again down the road, against Page or another Metro 4-A squad in the 4-A basketball playoffs and this time around/this season, the Bulldogs are again led by a Ferguson, but now it is the senior Zach Ferguson, instead of his brother Riley, who directed the ‘Dogs football team from his QB spot…..

(That may have been one of the longer sentences in English history, but it was for a good cause/charge.)

Wing/2 guard Zach Ferguson is averaging 20 pts. a game and 10 rebounds per contest, for the Butler Bulldogs and he just signed on Wednesday, to play basketball at Lenior-Rhyne in the fall of 2012…..He will play football too, but he signed to play basketball….Many Page Pirate fans will remember Ferguson from the football playoff game at PAGE back in the fall of 2011, and who knows, you might see Bulter again in the basketball playoffs and if not Page, maybe another Metro-4-A team will face Butler……Zach’s brother Riley, the Butler football QB with the DI numbers, he is on the B-ball team with his brother and you can read all about the Butler Bulldogs and their quest to be the best in basketball, with the Ferguson brothers and more big Butler Bulldogs when you CLICK HERE……
