Shining Light Academy from Greensboro travels a couple hours to Monroe to play Shining Light Baptist Academy. The Knights from Greensboro started slow but got it into gear in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to build a 15 point lead and stayed there until the middle of the final period and then the Crusaders from Monroe started battling back. But it would be too late as Shining Light Academy from Greensboro come away with a good non conference win on the road. Sophomore Caleb Robinson in his first game back after having an emergency appendectomy a couple weeks ago, led the Knights with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Junior Matthew Jeffries added 16 points and Sophomore Caleb Jeffries scored 14 points. Andrew Cruse led all scorers with 25 points for the Crusaders. Next up for the Knights from Greensboro will be Community Baptist from Reidsville tomorrow night @ Shining Light.
