Greensboro College Women’s Basketball Player, Danielle Duncan, Makes D3hoops.com First Team All-Region

Greensboro College women’s basketball player, Danielle Duncan, garnered D3hoops.com All-Region recognition on Tuesday. Duncan adds the honors to her USA South Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference selections.

The preseason All-American and 2010-2011 postseason All-American led The Pride in scoring with 18.8 points per game. She also ranked second on the squad in rebounding with 8.2 boards per contest and blocks per game with 1.1.

Duncan was named USA South Player of the Week three times over the course of the season and posted seven double-double perofrmances.

During her four years with Greensboro, she helped The Pride accumulate a record of 98-19, four USA South regular season titles, one tournament championship, three NCAA tournament appearances and a run to the NCAA Sweet 16.

Duncan concluded her career as the school’s all-time leading scorer and came 12 points shy of reaching the prestigious 2,000 point club.
