Kendall Marshall’s hand/wrist injury sounds serious(Making for March Uneasiness instead of March Madness)

I’m no doctor, so I can’t explain this one, but it does sound serious and they may have already made some sort of decision this morning and if anyone has heard anything or if you have an update, drop it in our box and thanks….Here is the breakdown(pardon the pun) up to this point….

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Top-seeded North Carolina advanced to the NCAA regional semifinals Sunday with an 87-73 victory over Creighton. But the Tar Heels may have to attempt to keep winning without their starting point guard.

Sophomore ballhandler Kendall Marshall has a fractured scaphoid bone in his right wrist, the team announced after the victory, and his status for Friday’s Round of 16 game in St. Louis is unknown.

  1. As a Duke fan, I needle my friends who are Carolina fans by saying the Tar Heels have issues with weak wrists. lol…

    But I hate to see that happen to any player.

  2. Creighton was a hard fouling, hard playing team. Seemed to play toward the playground style of basketball. Refs seemed to just get tired of blowing the whistle after a while. Rough game. Hopefully there were lessons learned by Tar Heel players and coaches. .
