A lot on the line in the final days of the regular season in the Piedmont Triad 4-A Conference

It is coming down to the wire in the Piedmont Triad 4-A Conference and Mike Ellis of the Jamestown News, is on the Baseball Beat in that conference for us and here we go with the updated standings and the final regular season games of 2012, courtesy of Mike Ellis(Jamestown News)……

East Forsyth and Southwest Guilford are tied at the top. Southwest has
Parkland left and the Cowboys are at home to take on the 0 – 11 Mustangs.
East Forsyth has to go on the road to face Glenn with a lot at stake for
both teams.

Glenn is in fourth place but needs a win to secure that spot outright as
they are only one game ahead of fifth place High Point Central. Glenn would
hold the tie breaker as they defeated Central twice in the regular season.

With a win, East Forsyth could do no worse than tie Southwest for first
place and the Eagles own the tiebreaker, having defeated the Cowboys twice
in the regular season.
