from baseball coach John Barrow at Guilford Technical Community College:

Kyle Miller committed to Guilford Tech today. I am very excited to have him. He is not only a quality player, but also a quality young man. We am very happy to have him in our program…..

Also good job Coach Reid Holmes for getting his Southwest Guilford Cowboy baseball players ready for college/the next level….How many is that now from SWG that are headed off to play baseball in college next year and don’t be surprised to see Kyle Miller headed off to some DI, DII or DIII school in a couple of years from now…..

Congratulations Kyle. You deserve this because of your hard work and dedication. Your size may be deceiving but you have plenty of heart.

In response to an earlier comment, from this year’s team, in addition to Kyle, Andrew Madden will play at UNC-Asheville, Sean Geghegan will play at UNC-Charlotte, Tyler Kellam will play at Guilford, Junior Matt Orth has verbally committed to UNC-Chapel Hill, and Junior Matt Dale is getting some serious looks.

SWG graduates Ethan Ogburn and Esterlin Paulino are currently top pitchers at NC State and NC A&T respectively.
