Jeremy Jones 2-4 tonight for the Reds with 3 RBI’s….

*****Things were learned at the game tonight…..Josiel Colon(Northeast Guilford High School) made his debut for the Reds this evening….Jeremy Jones also works as a coach with the Hitting Zone travel baseball program and he attended their Baseball Showcase today at Forsyth Country Day School…When Colon came into to hit for the first time as a Red tonight, he came on to pinch hit for Ronnie Burkes(Dudley HS), brother of Brandon Burkes….Jason Rook had another solid night for the Reds and he is on pace to have another solid/complete season for Coach Enad Haddad in 2012….Brent Moore is another player that Enad and Jeremy Jones are speaking very highly of and Bubba is the man that runs and controls the infield, according to Coach Haddad….Watching for Travis Moore(Dudley/WSSU) and Frankie Johnson(Dudley), to be a big part for more of the building up of the Greensboro edition, of the ‘Big Red Machine’….Side footnote:The Rally Monkey didn’t make it, but he may make a special return appearance in one of the upcoming post-game interviews, with the Reds….

Reds vs. the Greensboro Expos on Monday and the Expos won’t have Andre Dawson, Warren Cromartie or Ellis Valentine, but they will have Scott and Jonathan Wells from Northern Guilford, Greensboro Day School and Winston-Salem State…Look forward to seeing the Wells brothers on Monday and then the Reds travel to meet the Bulldogs, in Kernersville next Wednesday and when they get there they will see, Ray Crawford(Dudley), Cal Sutphin(SWG), Johnny Brown Jr.(Northeast Guilford) and others….
