ACC Baseball Teams fall fast on Sunday afternoon/night:Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Virginia all GONE/OUT!

What once looked promising, is now appearing bleak for the ACC, as the league started NCAA Baseball play in the field of 64 with 7 teams and out on Sunday go Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Virginia and Miami was out back on Saturday, so now the ACC just has two teams remaining in the hunt…Left with a shot at the College World Series are Florida State, the Seminoles are in(Super Regional) and N.C. State, with the Pack needing to defeat Vanderbilt again tonight to punch the Pack’s ticket to Super Regionals…The Pack just got past Vanderbilt on Sunday night, 6-5, and the Pack will play the Commodores this evening in Raleigh at 7pm, for the right to later on go to Nebraska, for the Big Baseball Dance…..I thought Luis Paula(Northeast Guilford HS) did a good job on the hill for the Heels on Sunday night, at least he was pitching well for the Tar Heels while I was tuned in(radio)…..Florida State(Super Regionals) is in and the N.C. State Wolfpack are tying to get in and we’ll just have to wait and see how the ACC’s chances end up….Not too good so far, with 7 chances going in and now only two teams left in the hunt…*****One of the wild and crazy things is that the Appalachian State Mountaineers on have to beat Oklahoma once today in Charlottesville and then APP is in the Super Regional…..*****

Columbia, S.C. (NCAA Tournament – Regionals)

  1. What happened to the Tar Heels. I was hoping UNC and State would both go but it looks like State is our only chance. There seems to be a problem at UNC but I just can’t put my hand on it. Oh well maybe they just weren;t good eniough, but I thought they were. I was pulling hard for them.

  2. They lost, just like 6 or 7 other number one seeds did, its called parity…just keep watching and you will see.
