Michael Dimock with pick #1119 went to the Houston Astros in Round 37 today…Mike is a RHP from Wesleyan Academy in High Point and from Wake Forest…..

Eddie Sappelt, from Southern Alamance High School and a member of the Metro 4-A Tournament Champions, was selected by the Miami Marlins in Round 37 today and Eddie was the 1127 overall pick in the draft….Sappelt is an outfielder and his brother(David) was in the Cincinnati Reds organization(now with the Cubs) and Eddie’s family is very good friends with Marlins’ consultant and former manager Jack McKeon….
