Caught the news on Tuesday and was totally caught off guard, as I read where Ryan Kabatchnick, the son of former Dudley boys soccer coach Craig Kabatchnick, had died…The death of Ryan Kabatchnick at the mere age of 24, an untimely ending at that…

Our thoughts go out to the family of Ryan Kabatchnick and I remmeber his dad well back when he used to be the boys soccer coach at Dudley High School….This was back around 1998/1999 and Coach K, Craig Kabatchnick, wore those Dudley colors proudly…Coach K would wear his Dudley cap and jacket everywhere he would go and he put a lot of time and effort into building that Dudley soccer program…

Ryan was a pretty good kicker himself, at Page High School in his early days with the Pirates, but he really excelled in the classroom upon arriving at N.C. State University and he ended up as the Valedictorian of the School of Engineering and the School of Business Management at N.C. State..

Again, out thoughts and prayers go out to the Kabatchnick family at this time of their loss and we do remember today, Ryan Kabatchnick…..
