Update on DeSean Anderson(Ragsdale HS/Hi-Toms) injury

DeSean Anderson(OF), a familiar face to many from his days at Ragsdale and Thomasville Post 87, was injured during the 10th inning of Friday’s CPL game against Martinsville. With the leadoff runner on, Anderson dove into first to beat out an infield single.

His left hand appeared to jam the bag as he slid, and he was in immediate pain. Walsh said Sunday that Anderson’s finger (apparently his left ring finger) was broken. He said that Anderson was planning to see a specialist soon and would have a better idea of the extent, but he expected him to be out a significant portion of the season…..
