Best of Luck to Justin Reece(SEG) as he leaves out/pulls out for his post at West Point today

Best of Luck to recent Southeast Guilford-grad Justin Reece, as he pulls out/leaves out today(Friday June 29), for his post duties at the United States Military Academy, at West Point…..

As they say, for Justin Reece, “you’re in the Army now”…..At West Point, New York Justin will be set to endure the “Beast Barracks” training/routine for 6 weeks prior to the beginning of his academic year……There will be lots of discipline training with running, exercises, calisthenics, excercises, running, calisthenics, hiking up in the mountains, climbing the mountains, running the mountains, calisthenics and on to bed and wake the next day and do it all over again…..

The training will be tough, but once you endure it, you can be set and prepared to tackle anything and the mental training that they provide at Army/West Point makes your mind set to take on all the challenges that you might run into in life….

Justin Reece will also be part of the Army/West Point baseball team and they will begin parts of their training in July….(Justin 2B, but could play SS or 3B)

Up at 5am and on to bed when you fall out at the end of the day and in the end, it will all be well worth it…..Again, ‘Best of Luck’ to Justin Reece, an outstanding graduate of Southeast Guilford High School and now on his way in the USA, as he plans to make his stay, at the US Military Academy in West Point, New York……

  1. Let’s all give the young man the proper send off he deserves……Looking at the word deserves, Justin will be minus the de-, serving his country and that is a ‘tall order’ and a very important responsibility…..

  2. Good luck Justin! I know Scott and Michelle hate to see you grow up and move on but this is a great opportunity for you and I know they are very proud. Know that we are all pulling for you and like Josh would like nothing better than to spot you in some of those baseball games next year.

I just hope the temps there are more reasonable there than here so that the training is a little more bearable.

  3. Justin all Falcon fans wish you the best. Grady Lawson and the Post 81 crew will miss you too. You are now a true member of the American Legion. Thanks and congrats young man. Coach Charlie
