Lake Norman/Mooresville 5
Southeast Guilford 4

SEG was up 4-3 going to the bottom of the 7th inning and that’s where LNM rallied to win the game, 5-4….SEG pitching loaded the bases up with an IBB and then they hit the LNM batter to force in the tying run and then LNM comes with the perfectly executed suicide-squeeze bunt play to push across the winning run and Lake Norman claims the Best-of-Five Series with SEG, taking it Three-Games-to-Two….

Cody Ezzell pitched and worked hard, but he took the loss for SEG and some of the offensive highlights were the first run of the game scored by Devon Sweet, as he came in to score on an RBI single to left centerfield by Carmine Pagano….Cody Ezzell had a two-run single for Southeast and Carmine Pagano had a big Triple….

SEG falls tonight and LNM will move on to play Rowan County in Round Two, which will begin on Monday night…..Good job this Summer Falcons and we will see you again, in the Spring of 2013…..
