Legal bills began piling up during NCAA violations and academic problems at UNC

The legal fees began to mount during the NCAA investigations at UNC-Chapel Hill and the academic problems can be traced in part, to a working-agreement with the football players/athletes and their tutors and in one case a term paper grew from 2 1/2 pages to 8 1/2 pages after the tutor made some adjustments…Still an interesting read and see what we and others are talking about today when you read below….

In one email exchange, an unidentified student-athlete reaches out to a tutor saying, “Please help. I’m going down,” with a two-and-a-half page, single-spaced paper attached.

A response to the email shortly thereafter reads, “I looked over your paper, and expanded it in a lot of areas!!! You are now at 8 ½ pages!!!”

  1. Spoke to my buddy Spicoli earlier today and he said he would love to get in on that term-paper stretching class, but don’t tell Mr. Hand about it…

  2. I think that stuff was known to the NCAA and is included in previous/current sanctions. I dont believe it to be new info at all.
