DYNAMO TO HOST HOME PLAY-OFF GAME

Greensboro, NC: The Dynamo (2012 Regular Season South Atlantic Division
Champions, 11-1-4) will host the Real Maryland Monarchs (8-4-4), tomorrow
(Tuesday, July 17) night for the right to compete in the Eastern
Conference Final Four this coming weekend. Kick-off is slated for 7:00 PM
at Macpherson Stadium. All children wearing a youth soccer jersey will
receive free admission. The Dynamo will also be giving away 2012 Team
Photos to the 1st 1,000 fans through the gates, courtesy of Systel
Printing and Adidas. Be sure to arrive early as $1 pizza slices, courtesy
of Spring Garden Pizzeria will be sold, and we?ll have $1 cans of
Budweiser and Bud Light for sale, courtesy of RH Barringer. The Dynamo
has beaten the Monarchs in both match ups this season. The Dynamo
recorded a 5-1 victory over the Monarchs on opening night, despite going
down 1-0 early in the match. The Dynamo again knocked off the Monarchs on
the road, just over two weeks ago by a score of 4-2.

The Dynamo attack is led by Hakan Ilhan (UNCG) who leads the team in
points with 22 (8G & 6 A). Hakans? 22 points has him tied for 14th in the
League. Mamadee Nyepon (High Point) has helped bolster the Dynamo attack
as of late and is tied with Ilhan for the most goals, both having scored
eight. The Dynamo finished fourth in the League scoring some 37 goals in
16 games. The Dynamo finished tied for 1st in goals against, only
allowing 10.

Real Maryland is led by a pair of dangerous strikers, and a talented
midfielder who have accounted for 24 of their 33 goals on the season.
David Neuberth (Howard Community College) leads the team with 10 goals,
and has 23 points on the season, which has him tied for 8th in the League
in scoring. Alassane Kane (American University) has scored eight goals
and recorded another 3 assists for the Monarchs. Aboubacarim Ndaw
(Senegal) leads the Monarch midfield having recorded six goals and four
assists.

The winner of the Carolina and Real Maryland game will earn a place in the
Eastern Conference Semi-finals to be played this coming weekend. Dates,
times & locations are still yet TBD. Ocean City, NJ has already punched
their ticket to the Eastern Conference Semi-finals as the #1 seed by
virtue of holding the best record in the 27 team Eastern Conference.
Other games taking place in the Eastern Conference include GPS Portland
Phoenix (Maine) vs. the Ottawa Fury and Jersey Express at the Reading Rage
(PA). The winners of those matches will also qualify for the Eastern
Conference Semi-Finals.
