West assistant coach is entering his 10th season at Western Guilford High where he has posted a 49-50 career record in 9 seasons an where his teams have made 7 state playoff appearances…also served as Western Guilford High’s baseball coach for 18 years, accumulating 334 wins, 12 conference championships, making 5 Regional appearances and finishing as state championship runners-up, and where he has been named State Coach of the Year, Area Coach of the Year, and has been named Conference Coach of the Year numerous times…native of Greensboro, NC…1987 graduate of Western Guilford High where he played baseball and football…1991 graduate of UNC Chapel Hill where he was a letterman under Coach Mac Brown…says “I take coaching in this NCCA East-West All-Star Game as a great honor. Having a chance to host practices at Western over the last 12 years, I have gotten the chance to be around some of the greatest coaches in the state. Now having the opportunity to coach in the game is very humbling.”
