Thinking out loud today and wondering who will be carrying the Carolina Panthers football games on radio this fall???

The past couple of seasons the games have been on 101.1FM, but now they have gone away from their Talk/Sports programming and in their place is the all Hispanic format…..

Who will have the Panthers this upcoming season??? In years past they have been on 101.1, 100.3, 95.4 and back in the beginning they may have also spent a season or two on 600AM…..

They best guess would say that they would move to 94.5FM, as in RUSH Radio, but I guess we will have to wait and see….Preseason practice starts next week and the preseason games are just a couple of weeks away and I guess we will know soon enough….

For many, all that they care about are the games on TV, but for others that are on the move and can’t have a TV with them at all times, the radio broadcasts come in very handy…..Back in the day in this market, you had Sonny, Sam and Frank, with the Washington Redskins and that is what many pro football fans were raised on, on the radio….

Sonny Jurgenson, Sam Huff and Frank Herzog were the team behind the team, back in those days….Sonny, Sam and Frank were as big as the team itself in many ways…Not sure if Mick Mixon, Eugene Robinson and Jim Szoke have connected with their Carolina Panthers fans quite like that, back in early days of the Panthers on radio, when they had Bill Rozinski, Roman Gabriel and Szoke there was quite a strong connection, especially in the Super Bowl year……

Radio still keeps the fans connected with their teams and how will we be hooked up to the Carolina Panthers this season??? The Panthers offensive lineman Ryan Kalil says they are headed to the Super Bowl and that they will win it all this season and that ought to make for some fun, following the team this year, but again, where will we find them on the radio?????

RUSH Radio 94.5 already has the Carolina Tar Heels and will they have the Carolina Panthers too???

It seems like some of the text on your content are running off the screen.

Can someone else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them too?
This might be a problem with my browser because I’ve had this happen previously. Thanks
