Andrew Seth Carawan late one night decided it would be cool to steal the Statue of Babe Ruth (the Grasshopper’s Mascot/Dog). In his attempt to remove the statute, he tore it from its base, effectively destroying the custom made fiberglass casting.
As part of his plea to have his crimes reduced from several felonies to misdemeanors, he agreed to hold this sign outside the NewBridge Bank Park tonight (one of the better attended nights of the week) and pay $6,000 in restitution.
