The Carolina Heat semipro football team, with guys like Rodney Beasley(Greensboro College), David Moore(Grimsley/Guilford College/Greensboro College), Nathan Crosby(Smith/Dudley), James Summers Jr.(WSSU) and Dominique Whitted(Lumberton HS/Steak n Shake on Lawndale) and many others dropped their game on Saturday afternoon/night, at Eastern Randolph High School in Ramseur….The final score was Morganton Bobcats 22, Carolina Heat 16 in overtime….Game ended up tied at 16-16 in regulation and the Morganton Bobcats got a pick and a return of 28 yards and then they went into their ground and pound offense and their RB Edwards took it in from 6 yards out, for the victory….
Bobcats now (3-0) and the Heat go to (1-1)……
