GREENSBORO, N.C. –Wyndham Championship fans can purchase tickets on the tournament website, at the tournament entrance or even through corporate sponsorships. But fans can only purchase two tickets for the price of one at Piedmont Triad Harris Teeter locations, it was announced today. The 73rd annual Wyndham Championship begins Monday.
Now through the end of the Wyndham Championship on Sunday, Aug. 19, fans can purchase two Wyndham tickets for the price of one at all Piedmont Triad-area Harris Teeter locations. The only catch is that a VIC card is required to get the two-for-one deal. The $40 tickets available at Harris Teeter are good for tournament admission on any day of tournament week. As always, children ages 15 and under are admitted free with a paying adult so a family of four can attend the Wyndham Championship for just $40 per day.
However, admission to the Wyndham on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is free for the first 5,000 fans who arrive at Sedgefield Country Club before Noon. Regular admission charges will resume either after the first 5,000 fans have arrived or at Noon each day, whichever comes first.
Some groups are admitted to the Wyndham free of charge all week. Thanks to sponsorship from D.H. Griffin, Piedmont Triad first responders and a guest have free admission. Thanks to sponsorship from Technology Concepts & Design, Piedmont Triad teachers and a guest as well as members of the military and their immediate families will be admitted free of charge. All groups need only show a current identification card to take advantage of the free admission courtesy of these generous Piedmont Triad companies.
