The game was stopped twice, didn’t get to finish it tonight. The Referee broke his leg for one stoppage, then lightning stopped the game for good. HPCA look good on both sides of the ball.
Moved down field first possession on a long run by Rick Mack. Then Quentin Chavis scrambled and a threw TD pass into the endzone, to Malik Streater, that was called out of bounds on the end line and the HPCA Cougars settled for a FG.
High Point Christian Academy Defense….HPCA stopped them most of time. McMichael did score twice against the second string defense. The HPCA Cougars where marching when the referee broke his leg and they called halftime while waiting on an ambulance that took about 30 mins. to get there.
The teams came back out and it started raining, with lightning and thunder, so they called the game at that point.
