4)Jackson Kent(HPCA) commits to play college baseketball at JMU in Harrisonburg, Virginia…
5)The Page Pirates drop out of the News and Record Top Ten High School Football Poll and they say details and the new poll will be in the Thursday N&R….
6)The Greensboro Grasshoppers are in the midst of SAL Playoff War at Hagerstown, Maryland with the Suns and the Hopper are winning the battle so far on Wednesday night, with their 3-1 lead in the bottom of the 9th inning…..
7)The 2012 NFL Season gets going tonight with Dallas vs. the New York Giants….

    N&R has video of play online. I certainly dont see anything that warrants ejection and suspension. I barely see what the flag was for. Appears to me to be an overzealus ref. And The NCHSAA agrees.

    We had it on-line last week, but I saw it for the first time today at the N&R and I agree with you…The officials over-reacted…….

    Nothing against refs but it seems like too many are spending their time looking for antcis versus just calling the game. Fans are not there to watch them.

    Thanks Carl!!!!!!!! I was thinking the same thing. At the end of the game it would be great if we could talk about the players and not the stupid refs! Well Said!!!

    I agree regarding the officials. I’ve been to all 3 NW games this year. There are an incredible number of penalties.
